About the position

Actalent is seeking a highly motivated Entry-Level Recruiter/Sales Trainee to join our team in Schaumburg, IL. As a recruiter, you will play a crucial role in advancing the careers of STEM professionals engaged in complex and cutting-edge work. Your primary responsibility will be to build trusted relationships with our network of engineering and sciences consultants, which is a key component of our company strategy. In this position, you will own the full recruiting lifecycle. This includes meeting with hiring managers to understand their needs, sourcing qualified STEM professionals through various recruiting tools, and screening potential consultants through interviews and reference checks. You will learn about their goals, skills, and interests to ensure alignment with available opportunities. Additionally, you will communicate work opportunities and prepare consultants for their new roles, performing critical relationship-building activities such as coaching them for interviews and checking in on their first day of work. Maintaining a network of consultants that align with top industry-specific skill sets is essential, as is building trusted relationships with your network of STEM professionals to be seen as a partner in helping them advance their careers. Responsibilities

  • Own the full recruiting lifecycle, including meeting with hiring managers to understand their needs.
  • Source qualified STEM professionals through various recruiting tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience in customer service, leadership, or sales is a plus.
  • Experience collaborating in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
  • Desire to work in a performance-based environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in sales or recruitment is a plus.
  • Familiarity with STEM fields and industries.
