About the position

The Retail Territory Sales Manager at ICP Group is responsible for driving sales growth in the North and South Carolina market by building relationships with store personnel, customers, and contractors. This entry-level position focuses on developing an understanding of market trends, conducting product training, and ensuring product placement and inventory accuracy in retail stores such as Lowe's and Home Depot.

Responsibilities

  • Grow store sales volume in the designated territory.
  • Communicate with Store Managers, Department Supervisors, Assistant Store Managers, and MST/MET (service team) manager.
  • Provide hands-on and/or product knowledge training for store personnel and customers.
  • Conduct special orders and .com training with the Pro team.
  • Work with the Pro team to secure potential customers and address their needs and questions.
  • Confirm actual and system inventory counts match and work with store personnel to address discrepancies.
  • Ensure planogram integrity and correct product placement in stores.
  • Cross merchandise products and conduct weekly competitor price shops.
  • Document store visits.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree preferred with previous Retail Sales experience.
  • Exceptional verbal, presentation, and training skills.
  • Ability to work independently with clients to overcome typical sales objections.
  • Comfortable cold calling within a set territory.
  • Ability to travel overnight if required.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
