About the position

Working as an Entry Level Sales Development Representative at Michael Page, you will own a role which is varied, stimulating and challenging on a daily basis. This career will further develop your interpersonal and commercial skills, giving you real opportunity for personal and professional growth. You will be responsible for "hunting" new business opportunities and lead generation within your target market and territory. You will manage the process from interview through offer stage and close of sale, ensuring a smooth experience for both candidates and clients. Additionally, you will manage your own portfolio of candidates and clients, both existing and new, which will require you to search, source, and screen potential candidates utilizing multiple online resources. Building close partnerships with clients is essential, as you will help their business grow by developing and delivering the best solutions for attracting candidates. Conducting interviews to thoroughly evaluate candidates is a key part of your role, as well as having involvement in the proposal process by developing and pitching proposals. You will also negotiate commercial terms of business and rates, ensuring that both parties are satisfied with the agreements made. Being an industry leader is not easily achieved, so we need the best and brightest sales and recruitment professionals who are ready to bring the energy, passion, and determination it will take to maintain this reputation.

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for hunting new business opportunities and lead generation within your target market and territory.
  • Manage the process from interview through offer stage and close of sale.
  • Manage your own portfolio of candidates and clients, both existing and new.

Requirements

  • Tangible internship experience working in B2B sales or recruitment environment.
  • Prospecting experience is preferred.
  • A positive attitude and desire to win.
  • Driven by a desire to achieve meaningful and measurable results, develop as a sales professional.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent.
  • Adaptable and thrive in new situations where you can think on your feet.
  • Coachable and dedicated to continuous self-improvement.
