About the position

As an Entry-Level Sales Executive at Medical Diagnostic Laboratories (MDL), a member of Genesis Global Group, you will play a crucial role in expanding the sales force across the U.S. This position focuses on maintaining and growing a client base of hospital and physician customers, emphasizing the importance of automated DNA-based molecular analysis in healthcare.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve annual sales and profit objectives for a defined territory.
  • Obtain new business and exceed annual territory sales budget by presenting new test information and seeking new revenue sources.
  • Develop and present personalized sales presentations to professional audiences, demonstrating MDL's technical features and services.
  • Establish positive long-term client relations through scheduling and conducting calls with clients.
  • Develop and maintain a full business pipeline of prospective clients and manage territory activities.
  • Provide timely and accurate reporting of pipeline, account plans, and territory management activities.
  • Work closely with the Regional Manager to develop the assigned territory in line with company objectives.
  • Maintain knowledge of competitors and their presence in the assigned territory.

Requirements

  • Well-developed multi-tasking, organizational skills, and detail orientation.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Sound judgment and decision-making ability.
  • Computer proficiency in MS Office, Excel, email, and internet functions.
  • Ability to travel within the coverage area and occasionally nationwide.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience is preferred, but not required.

Nice-to-haves

  • A bachelor's degree or two years of sales experience, or a similar combination of education and experience is preferred, but not required.
