The Community Solar Sales Manager (Trainee) position is designed for individuals passionate about clean energy and community engagement. This role involves leading a team of sales professionals to promote sustainable energy solutions by subscribing residential and small business customers to local community solar farms. The manager will drive sales, foster community relationships, and contribute to reducing carbon footprints while ensuring team performance and growth in customer subscriptions.

Responsibilities

• Promote the benefits of community solar programs and educate potential customers.
• Monitor and analyze sales metrics, track individual and team performance, and implement corrective actions.
• Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to the sales team.
• Lead and inspire a team of sales representatives, providing coaching and mentorship.
• Generate regular reporting on team performance, sales activities, and KPIs.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year sales experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of the solar energy industry and community solar programs is a plus.
• Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving industry.
• Valid Driver's License; vehicle.
• High school diploma.
