Responsibilities

• Update reports, records, bookkeeping systems, and other organizational tools to accurately report progress toward monthly insurance sales goals.
• Tailor risk management strategies and client profiles to reflect each customer's individual needs.
• Stay abreast of any changes to rules or policies within the insurance agency to effectively amend insurance programs for existing and prospective clients.
• Implement marketing strategies including cold calling and networking to connect with potential clients while maintaining a portfolio of current clients.
• Conduct meetings with new and potential clients and carefully listen to their individual circumstances to present the best insurance policies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience using accounting or sales-related software is beneficial.
• Basic computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office suite are required.
• Must possess strong communication skills and the ability to analyze complex ideas like insurance programs.
• Experience in customer service is beneficial.
• Candidates must have or be willing to obtain an insurance license.
