About the position

The Sanitization Technician position at Eurofins USA PSS Insourcing Solutions involves performing environmental service duties to maintain and sterilize laboratories, equipment, and common areas within a manufacturing facility. This entry-level role requires no prior experience, as training will be provided. The technician will ensure cleanliness and readiness for production and testing of sterile medical products, contributing to the overall safety and efficiency of the facility.

Responsibilities

• Perform environmental service duties to maintain and sterilize laboratories, equipment, and offices.
• Ensure all laboratories and equipment are clean, disinfected, and ready for production and testing of sterile medical products.
• Clean and sanitize common areas, restrooms, locker rooms, cafeterias, and storage areas.
• Stock and organize supplies for all required areas.
• Operate Microsoft Applications for charting, email, and training.
• Follow standard procedures and execute activities independently and in a team environment.
• Complete documentation in a regulated environment, including logbooks and communication with other groups.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience performing custodial or sanitization in a medical, laboratory, or clean room environment preferred.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours/day in a physically active role.
• Ability to use Microsoft computer applications for communication and training.
• Ability to pass a full physical including a respiratory certification and drug test.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in a laboratory environment.
• Familiarity with environmental service duties in a manufacturing setting.
