Entry Level Security Officer (Riverfront Plaza)

About the position

The Entry Level Security Officer at Riverfront Plaza is responsible for ensuring a safe and secure environment for clients, guests, and associates. This role involves patrolling the property, monitoring surveillance cameras, and adhering to safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with building policies.

Responsibilities

• Patrol and inspect property to protect against fire, theft, vandalism, and illegal activity.
• Monitor entrances and exits using the security camera system of the office building.
• Greet and assist guests, visitors, and tenants as needed.
• Lock and unlock doors, including manual overhead doors and large access gates as required.
• Observe and report violations of building policy and law on the property.
• Deter criminal activity or other problems through visual presence and intervention.
• Complete incident reports with accurate information and in a timely fashion.
• Lead safety efforts by personal example and support compliance with safety rules.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 1 year of Security experience
• Ability to show good judgment and common sense
• Ability to follow directions and directives from supervisors
• Excellent verbal and written abilities to document violations or suspicious behavior
• Ability to take charge and direct others in emergencies
• Keen eye for detail
