About the position

As an Entry Level Site Reliability Engineer (DevOps) at Auto Data Direct, you will be part of a team focused on the continuous improvement and support of customer-facing products. This role involves developing innovative software solutions to address complex business and technical challenges, utilizing various tools and technologies to enhance system performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Develop new solutions to solve complex business and technical needs.
• Work with SIEM tools to enhance security and monitoring.
• Collect and analyze system requirements for better performance.
• Research, evaluate, and select technology solutions for implementation.
• Automate build, deployment, and testing processes for systems in production datacenters.
• Design, code, test, implement, and monitor network and application infrastructure.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in MIS, CIS, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with virtualization, scripting and automation, server hardware, and/or network communications desired.
• Experience with both Windows and Linux server operating systems preferred.
• Familiarity with programming and scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, and Go is preferred.
• Preferred industry standard certifications include CKA, CKAD, CKS, KCNA, KCSA, PCA, ICA, CGOA, and AWS.
• Desire and ability to quickly learn and apply new skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
