About the position

The Entry Level Software Developer role at Year Up United is part of an intensive job training program designed for young adults aged 18-29. This program combines technical and professional training with access to internships and job placement support, aiming to equip participants with the necessary skills to launch their careers in the information technology industry. Participants will gain hands-on experience through internships with leading organizations in Phoenix, while also receiving personalized coaching and mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Participate in in-depth classes covering Application Development & Support, Banking & Customer Success, Helpdesk/Desktop Support, and Investment Operations.
• Develop professional business and communication skills.
• Engage in networking and resume building activities.
• Receive ongoing support and guidance throughout the program.
• Complete coursework that may be eligible for college credit.

Requirements

• Must be between 18-29 years old.
• High school graduate or GED recipient.
• Eligible to work in the U.S.
• Available Monday-Friday throughout the program duration.
• Highly motivated to learn technical and professional skills.
• Must not have obtained a Bachelor's degree.
