About the position

The position involves designing and developing user interfaces and visualizations to support data discovery, analytic visualizations, and AI/ML big data analytics. The role requires the use of modern development techniques and tools, with a focus on creating services that enhance user experience and incorporate feedback from analysts.

Responsibilities

• Designs and develops user interfaces and visualizations for data discovery and analytic visualizations.
• Develops services using REST, Java, JSON, Spring, Python, JavaScript frameworks (e.g., jQuery, Angular, React), and Docker.
• Utilizes processes and tools that support the DevSecOps pipeline including JIRA, Git, Junit, Jenkins, SonarQube, and Artifactory.
• Supports development and demonstration of user interface and visualization concepts, incorporating analyst feedback into the backlog.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 9 years of relevant experience, Master's degree with 7 years of relevant experience, or PhD with 4 years of relevant experience; additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree requirement.
• Experience working in an Agile, Microservice cloud-based environment.
• Experience with Java, Python, shell scripting.
• Experience with JSON, Spring, Spring Boot, JavaEE, Docker, and Web UI JavaScript frameworks (jQuery, Angular, React).
• Top Secret/SCI CI Poly clearance is required.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with JIRA, Git, Junit, and Jenkins.
• Experience with multiple database technologies including RDBMS, Elasticsearch and/or SOLR, NoSQL (Hadoop and/or EMR).
