As an Entry-Level Structural/Mechanical Engineer at Olsson, you will join a dynamic industrial team focused on innovative engineering solutions. This role involves providing tank and vessel design as well as structural and mechanical design for agricultural and industrial projects. You will prepare design documents, specifications, and calculations while contributing to impactful projects that enhance community sustainability and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide tank and vessel design for ag and industrial projects.
• Prepare design documents and specifications.
• Conduct design calculations for projects.
• Collaborate with team members on various engineering tasks.
• Travel for site visits as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• 0 - 3 years of experience in engineering.
• Passed Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam and working towards PE.
• Strong interest in tank and vessel work.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience utilizing mechanical design and drafting software packages.
• Knowledge of Autodesk Revit.
• Knowledge of FEA modeling software and AutoPIPE.
