As a UX Researcher Apprentice at Catalyte, you will embark on a journey to become a skilled UX Researcher, with no prior experience required. This role is designed for individuals who are eager to learn and grow in the field of user experience research. You will work closely with a team to execute various user research-focused testing and solicit feedback on the user experience of digital products. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting usability tests at different stages of product development, collaborating with the Lead UX Designer to ensure an optimal user experience, and analyzing, reporting, and presenting test findings to the team. You will also implement feedback mechanisms and strategies to gather user feedback, stay updated with the latest usability testing tools and methodologies, and advocate for user needs to drive improvements based on usability findings and best practices. The apprenticeship program is structured into two phases: the training phase and the deployment phase. During the training phase, which lasts for 8 weeks, you will acquire the foundational skills necessary for the role of UX Researcher through a full-time, project-based training program. After completing the training, you will be deployed to a client partner where you will work as a UX Researcher for approximately 12 months, contributing to the client team's success and further developing your skills. There may be an opportunity to transition into a full-time employee with the client after the deployment period.
