About the position
The Entry Level Warehouse Worker position at Aerotek involves performing essential tasks to support the movement, storage, and packaging of inventory. This role is crucial in the warehousing industry, focusing on order preparation, inventory management, and ensuring efficient delivery processes.
Responsibilities
- Pulling orders and preparing orders for shipment
- Using an RF scanner to pick orders
- Packing orders into boxes for shipping
- Loading and unloading different transport items
- Recording inventory statuses
- Ensuring deliveries properly match purchase orders
- Maintaining inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock
- Recording location of inventory
- Reporting shortages
- Pulling orders from inventory
- Delivering production materials and supplies where needed
- Staging finished product for final distribution
Requirements
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
- Must be willing to be flexible while the company is still in the startup phase
- Must be comfortable standing in one spot for the entire shift
- Must be willing to work in various locations throughout the distribution center
