About the position

The Entry Level Web Designer / Marketing Specialist at Chapo Extrax LLC is responsible for enhancing the company's online presence through effective web design, marketing, and social media management. This role involves creating visually appealing and user-friendly websites, executing digital marketing campaigns, and managing social media content to promote brand awareness and drive traffic to the website.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain visually appealing, user-friendly websites that align with brand guidelines.
• Ensure websites are responsive, fast-loading, and optimized for various devices and browsers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement design updates and improvements.
• Manage website content, including text, images, and multimedia, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Use web design tools (e.g., Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch, WordPress) to create and edit web pages and layouts.
• Assist in the creation and execution of digital marketing campaigns to promote the website and other services/products.
• Monitor and analyze web traffic and other digital metrics to identify trends and opportunities.
• Develop content for email campaigns, blogs, and newsletters.
• Support SEO and SEM efforts to enhance the visibility and ranking of the website.
• Manage and create content for social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.).
• Develop engaging posts, stories, and visuals to promote brand awareness and drive website traffic.
• Monitor social media trends, industry news, and competitor activities to stay ahead of the curve.
• Engage with followers and manage customer inquiries through social channels.
• Assist in creating and scheduling social media content calendars.

Requirements

• Proven experience in web design, with a strong portfolio of past projects.
• Proficiency in web design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, WordPress, etc.).
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, or experience with web design platforms.
• Familiarity with SEO best practices and tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush, etc.).
• Solid understanding of social media platforms, trends, and content creation.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with marketing campaigns or email marketing is a plus.
