About the position

The Entry/Mid-Level Structural Engineer at VAA will play a crucial role in designing structural systems and foundations for various projects, particularly in the agribusiness and industrial sectors. This position involves performing high-quality engineering services, utilizing both software and hand calculations to develop design solutions that meet code requirements. The role also includes site visits and structural evaluations, contributing to the success of clients by ensuring constructible designs.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality engineering services.
• Use software and hand calculations to develop design solutions that meet code requirements.
• Conduct site visits, observations, and structural evaluations.
• Lead the preparation of proposals, design documents, and project deliverables (for Mid-level).
• Coordinate design team efforts internally and externally (for Mid-level).
• Develop and coordinate project details (for Mid-level).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with structural engineering emphasis.
• Entry-level: E.I.T (preferred).
• Mid-Level: 5+ years of experience without PE or 4 years of experience with PE (preferred).
