About the position

The Environmental Services Technician (EST) position at Goodwill of North Georgia is a part-time role focused on maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the store. The technician will perform various janitorial tasks to ensure a welcoming environment for customers, while also adhering to safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Keep the store clean by dusting, mopping, sweeping, and polishing.
• Use buffers and floor scrubbers as trained.
• Manage trash disposal and maintain bathroom cleanliness.
• Follow task outlines for all duties and comply with ISO regulations and company policies.

Requirements

• Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 30lbs with or without accommodations.
• Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to bend, reach, and grasp throughout the workday.

Nice-to-haves

• A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent education.
• One or more years of housekeeping, janitorial, or custodian experience.
