About the position

The Environmental Compliance and Permitting Project Manager at Trihydro Corporation is responsible for managing and executing environmental permitting and compliance projects across various industries. This role involves developing environmental plans, conducting assessments, and ensuring regulatory compliance while supporting clients in improving human health and the environment. The position emphasizes a commitment to safety, quality deliverables, and fostering long-term client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute environmental permitting and compliance projects.
  • Develop SPCC Plans, SWPPPs, and NPDES permits.
  • Provide hazardous waste, hazardous materials, EMS, air quality, and other environmental regulatory compliance services.
  • Conduct Phase I and II environmental due diligence assessments.
  • Perform regulatory research, compliance planning, and auditing.
  • Prepare reports for state and federal environmental compliance.
  • Assist clients in developing sustainability and ESG programs.
  • Prepare technical proposals and cost estimates.
  • Lead business development and marketing efforts.

Requirements

  • BS degree in engineering, geology, environmental science, or related field; MS degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of relevant environmental industry experience; PE, PG, and/or CHMM preferred.
  • Knowledge of SPCC, RCRA, CWA, SWPPP, UST/AST systems, and Federal and State regulations.
  • Experience with sustainability/ESG reporting and knowledge of ESG reporting frameworks preferred.
  • Direct industry employment history managing projects, budgets, and preparing cost estimates.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet client service expectations on budget and schedule.
  • Strong technical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Initiative and motivation with a focus on client service.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and affiliated applications.
