About the position

The Environmental Compliance and Permitting Project Manager at Trihydro Corporation is responsible for managing and executing environmental permitting and compliance projects across various industries. This role involves developing environmental plans, providing regulatory compliance services, conducting environmental assessments, and assisting clients with sustainability and ESG programs. The position requires strong project management skills, technical expertise, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute environmental permitting and compliance projects.
  • Develop SPCC Plans, SWPPPs, and NPDES permits.
  • Provide hazardous waste, hazardous materials, EMS, air quality, and other environmental regulatory compliance services.
  • Conduct Phase I and II environmental due diligence assessments.
  • Perform regulatory research, compliance planning, and auditing.
  • Prepare reports for state and federal environmental compliance.
  • Assist clients in developing sustainability and ESG programs.
  • Prepare technical proposals and cost estimates.
  • Lead business development and marketing efforts.

Requirements

  • BS degree in engineering, geology, environmental science, or related field; MS degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of relevant environmental industry experience; PE, PG, and/or CHMM preferred.
  • Knowledge of SPCC, RCRA, CWA, SWPPP, UST/AST systems, and Federal and State regulations.
  • Experience with sustainability/ESG reporting and knowledge of ESG reporting frameworks preferred.
  • Direct industry employment history managing projects, budgets, and preparing cost estimates.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong technical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Fluency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and affiliated applications.
  • Interest in ESG issues.
