About the position
The Environmental Compliance & Permitting Intern position at SRP is designed for college students majoring in Environmental or related sciences. The intern will support the air quality team in various environmental compliance activities, focusing on emission calculations, recordkeeping, reporting, and data collection. This role provides an opportunity to apply academic knowledge in a practical setting while gaining experience in environmental regulations and compliance processes.
Responsibilities
- Support the air quality team with environmental compliance activities.
- Perform emission calculations and maintain accurate recordkeeping.
- Assist in reporting and data collection/review.
- Read, interpret, and apply environmental regulations.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a college program majoring in Environmental or related sciences.
- Completion of at least 100 college-level coursework from an accredited institution.
