About the position

The Environmental Controls Analyst is responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and standards within the pharmaceutical compounding industry. This role involves reviewing environmental monitoring data, preparing regulatory reports, and supporting audits to maintain adherence to internal policies and external regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Review and enter environmental monitoring data.
  • Ensure that reports and documentation are accurate, complete, and filed in accordance with regulations.
  • Prepare and submit required regulatory reports and documentation to governmental agencies (e.g., EPA, local environmental agencies).
  • Report and document non-compliance events, reporting issues to department leadership and suggesting corrective actions.
  • Enter and manage environmental data to be used for trending.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of environmental data and records.
  • Evaluate environmental risks and the potential impacts of non-compliance.
  • Help implement and monitor environmental management systems (EMS).
  • Support regulatory inspections by providing requested documentation and evidence of compliance.

Requirements

  • A degree or related experience in Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • Analytical skills for interpreting environmental data and identifying compliance issues.
  • Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in data entry, reports, and compliance documentation.
  • Communication skills for reporting non-compliance and working with internal teams and regulatory agencies.
