About the position

We are seeking a detail-oriented Environmental Data Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing environmental data and trends, conducting research, and providing insights that support sustainable practices. The ideal candidate will possess strong data analysis skills, know how to write R code/script as a QAQC tool, and have a passion for environmental stewardship, contributing to projects that promote ecological balance and compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze environmental data using analytical tools to identify trends and make recommendations.
• Utilize VBA for automating data processes and enhancing reporting efficiency.
• Create visual representations of data through building R Studio code/scripts to communicate findings effectively.
• Manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Conduct thorough research on environmental regulations and best practices to inform decision-making.
• Maintain linked data systems for tracking environmental metrics and reporting outcomes.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations summarizing findings for project managers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
• Experience with VBA programming is preferred.
• Strong coding skills and the use of R-studio.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets.
• Proven project management experience with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey technical information to non-technical audiences.
