About the position

The Environmental Driver Specialist CDLA at Enviri Corporation is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation and disposal of waste materials. This role involves traveling to various locations, packing, and disposing of hazardous and non-hazardous waste in compliance with environmental policies. The position requires a commitment to safety and environmental responsibility, with opportunities for overtime and cross-training into different roles.

Responsibilities

• Pack, transport, and properly dispose of waste material according to environmental policies and procedures.
• Travel to assigned locations on a regular route, including one overnight stay per week and occasional weekends.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during transportation and disposal activities.
• Interact with customers and internal staff, providing excellent service and communication.
• Complete required documentation for waste disposal and transportation.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• At least 21 years of age.

Nice-to-haves

• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements (required to obtain if not already held).
• TWIC Card.
• Experience driving box trucks.
• Fluency in English (verbal and written).
