About the position
The Environmental Engineer will lead environmental project activities at a manufacturing facility, focusing on compliance with environmental regulations and hazardous waste management. This role involves conducting site investigations, developing remediation plans, and ensuring adherence to environmental standards while working collaboratively with regulatory bodies and internal teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead environmental project activities, including site investigations, environmental assessments, and remediation plans.
- Develop strategies to ensure adherence to environmental regulations and hazardous waste management.
- Identify and advise on environmental risks associated with plant operations.
- Design and implement sampling and monitoring plans for air, land, and water pollution.
- Analyze environmental data to ensure regulatory compliance and prepare reports for management and agencies.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes, ensuring all operations comply with the latest standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Experience with Title V compliance and hazardous waste management.
- Proven track record in environmental project management.
- Strong understanding of environmental regulations and risk assessment.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with regulatory bodies and internal teams.
