About the position

As an Environmental Graphics Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for selling large-format color graphic printing services to a diverse range of market segments, including retail, advertising, manufacturing, and fashion. This role involves engaging with company executives and business owners to understand their business objectives and promote our extensive range of products and services. You will be tasked with selling point-of-purchase displays (POP), point of sale (POS) materials, exhibit and trade show graphics, large format posters, banners, wall murals, floor and fleet graphics, promotional signage, and marketing and educational materials. Your primary duties will include selling the full line of color services, which encompasses both large and small format printing, as well as finishing services to local, regional, and national businesses. You will develop strong business relationships with both existing and new customers, contributing to their marketing and advertising goals to help increase their sales and profitability. A strategic plan for achieving revenue quotas and maximizing long-term account revenue opportunities will be essential to your success in this role. You will also be responsible for performing effective cold calling and prospecting, developing and delivering customer presentations, demonstrations, and proposals. Managing complex sales cycles will require a consultative solution selling approach, and you will need to develop proposals that outline unique customer business applications, pricing, and implementation plans. This position demands an independent, self-motivated sales professional who can work autonomously and is driven to meet and exceed sales quotas.

Responsibilities

  • Sell full line of color services including large format, small format, and finishing services to local, regional, and national businesses.
  • Engage with company executives and business owners to understand their business objectives and promote products and services.
  • Develop strong business relationships with existing and new customers to contribute to their marketing and advertisement goals.
  • Develop a strategic plan for achieving revenue quota and maximizing long-term account revenue opportunities.
  • Perform effective cold calling and prospecting to generate new business.
  • Develop and deliver customer presentations, demonstrations, and proposals.
  • Manage complex sales cycles utilizing a consultative solution selling approach.
  • Develop proposals outlining unique customer business applications, pricing, and implementation plans.

Requirements

  • Independent, self-motivated sales professional capable of working independently.
  • Excellent cold-calling, prospecting, objection-handling, and closing skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate ideas, information, and concepts in various presentation settings.
  • Driven to produce sales quotas and achieve targets.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint.
  • Ability to prospect via telephone or other media to set in-person appointments.
  • Knowledge of environmental graphics and large/small format graphics.
