About the position

The Environmental Graphics Signage Project Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing the execution of signage projects from inception to completion. This position requires a strong understanding of environmental graphics and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring high-quality outcomes. The successful candidate will work closely with clients to kick off projects, identifying the full scope of work needed, and will collaborate with sales teams to ensure project success. Regular communication with clients and salespeople regarding project status is essential, as is the ability to foresee potential hurdles and provide alternative solutions to stakeholders. In addition to project management, the role involves utilizing available resources to determine project timelines, pricing accuracy, budgets, and specific project needs. The Project Manager will also be responsible for documenting projects using appropriate software, identifying safety hazards at job sites, and ensuring they are addressed. Invoicing clients accurately and on time is another critical responsibility. The ideal candidate will have a background in environmental signage, with a focus on graphic and interior signage, and will be able to maintain a calm and focused demeanor throughout the project lifecycle. This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, possesses strong time management skills, and has a keen attention to detail. The ability to work with various personalities, both within the company and with clients, is essential. The Project Manager will also need to be flexible and able to adjust to changing priorities, ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

  • Work with clients to kick off projects and identify the full scope of work needed
  • Work closely with Salespeople to ensure project success
  • Regularly update the client and salesperson of project status
  • Utilize resources available, determine project timeline, pricing accuracy, budgets & project needs
  • Foresee any upcoming project hurdles and professionally communicate to all project stakeholders, providing alternative solutions
  • Communicate with all departments to bring projects from design to delivery & billing
  • Identify and adhere to budgets
  • Properly document projects utilizing appropriate software/programs
  • Identify when safety hazards are present at job sites and work to alleviate them
  • Invoice clients

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Minimum of 2+ years environmental sign industry project management experience required
  • Ability to estimate all types of environmental graphics
  • Highly organized and able to multitask in a fast paced, changing environment
  • Able to stay calm and focused during the lifecycle of the project
  • Be accountable with strong time management skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Critical thinking
  • Flexible and able to adjust to changing priorities
  • Ability to work with varying personalities both inside and outside the company
  • Experience with previous ERP systems
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
