About the position

The Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Program Manager plays a crucial role in a leading manufacturer of advanced electronics, focusing on the development and implementation of EHS programs. This position is responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, enhancing safety standards, and promoting sustainable practices within the organization. The EHS Program Manager will collaborate with engineering teams to maintain ISO14001 certification and lead audits, shaping policies that reflect the company's commitment to excellence in safety and environmental stewardship.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and monitor HSE programs and procedures to ensure full compliance with all local, state, federal laws, and company standards.
  • Serve as ISO14001 Environmental Management Representative, responsible for maintaining certification and acting as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies.
  • Conduct incident investigations, maintain safety statistics, and recommend corrective actions to address problem areas.
  • Lead regular facility safety audits, report findings, and ensure timely resolution of any discrepancies.
  • Design and deliver HSE training for employees and management, including new hire orientation and SDS utilization.
  • Oversee facility inspections for safety, health, and environmental risks, maintaining records of inspections, incident findings, and employee exposure to hazards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, or a related field (preferred).
  • 3-5 years of experience managing Environmental Health and Safety systems in a manufacturing setting (preferred).
  • In-depth knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance standards.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in environmental inspection technologies, equipment, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary range of $100,000 - $110,000 per year.
