About the position

The Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Program Manager plays a crucial role in a leading electronics manufacturing company, focusing on the development and implementation of EHS programs. This position is responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, enhancing safety standards, and promoting sustainable practices within the organization. The EHS Program Manager will collaborate with engineering teams to maintain ISO14001 certification and lead audits, making a significant impact on the company's commitment to safety and environmental stewardship.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor HSE programs and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, federal laws, and company standards.
• Serve as ISO14001 Environmental Management Representative, maintaining certification and liaising with regulatory agencies.
• Conduct incident investigations, maintain safety statistics, and recommend corrective actions for problem areas.
• Lead regular facility safety audits, report findings, and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.
• Design and deliver HSE training for employees and management, including new hire orientation and SDS utilization.
• Oversee facility inspections for safety, health, and environmental risks, maintaining records of inspections and incident findings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, or a related field (preferred).
• 3-5 years of experience managing Environmental Health and Safety systems in a manufacturing setting (preferred).
• In-depth knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance standards.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Proficiency in environmental inspection technologies, equipment, and Microsoft Office Suite.
