About The Position
The Environmental Leader at Goodyear's plant site is responsible for providing environmental leadership, developing and implementing programs, processes, and policies to ensure compliance with state and local regulations. This role involves working closely with plant leadership to resolve findings, identify corrective actions, and develop an audit system for environmental compliance. The position also focuses on innovation methods to reduce compliance costs and time, while ensuring effective communication of environmental messaging. Additionally, the Environmental Leader will represent the plant in negotiations with regulatory agencies and develop plans to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and energy consumption.
