About the position

Sierra Piedmont Engineers & Geologists is seeking to retain an experienced Phase I/Property Condition Assessment team member with a passion for client service to join Sierra's due diligence department. The position is an important leadership and management position within the environmental engineering industry and requires 1-5 years of proven experience in this service area. Phase I ESA and Property Condition Assessment Experience is required. The successful candidate will also have a B.S. or M.S. in engineering, architecture, geology or a construction services background and be able to show examples of contributing to a client execution team while exhibiting a high degree of self-direction. The right candidate will be a master multi-tasker with a high energy level, strong work ethic, and excellent organization abilities in traditional project management including setting up projects, executing field work, writing reports, hiring sub-contractors, and compiling project summaries. Responsibilities

  • Conduct Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (field, report, project management)
  • Perform Property Condition Assessments (field, report, project management)
  • Manage projects by executing scope of work and ensuring field tasks meet internal and external requirements while adhering to cost and time budgets
  • Maintain client relationships and manage client expectations

Requirements

  • 1-5 years of proven experience in Phase I ESA and Property Condition Assessment
  • B.S. or M.S. in engineering, architecture, geology or a construction services background
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to a client execution team
  • Strong project management skills including setting up projects, executing field work, and writing reports
