About the position

Antea USA, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to oversee environmental site assessment and remediation projects. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, financial acumen, and interpersonal skills to lead interdisciplinary teams. The position is based in the Greater New England office with options for remote work, and involves managing project scope, schedule, and budget while ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage scope, schedule, and budget for environmental site assessment and remediation projects.
• Perform, plan, coordinate, oversee project work, and lead project teams involving site investigation, risk assessment, and remediation of soil, groundwater, and sediments.
• Evaluate remedial alternatives and assist clients in developing cost-effective closure strategies with regulatory agencies.
• Direct management of 2-3 team members to support their career growth and connect them with opportunities.

Requirements

• A degree in Geology, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related scientific field is required.
• 5 years or more of environmental consulting experience is required.
• Professional certification in a related field (PE, PG, LEP, LSP, LSRP) is a plus.
• 40-hour HAZWOPER training is required (can be provided for the right candidate).
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Construction Safety certification is a plus.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in executing and managing environmental site assessment and remediation projects.
• Experience in project team leadership and personnel management and development.
• Experience in environmental due diligence (ASTM Phase I/II) project execution and management is a plus.
