About the position

The Environmental Remediation BD/Practice Leader is responsible for driving business development and managing practice operations within the environmental remediation sector. This role requires collaboration with various leaders across business development, sector, program, and operational teams to foster a team-oriented environment. The leader will leverage existing client relationships and develop new ones to generate revenue and ensure successful project execution.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business development, sector, program, and operational leaders to drive practice success.
• Develop and maintain client contacts and relationships across multiple sectors and service lines.
• Lead business development efforts, including writing proposals, scopes of work, and budgets for projected work.
• Mentor and manage staff positively to enhance team performance.
• Generate leads, create proposals, and conduct sales presentations to meet sales goals.
• Direct project work execution to ensure client satisfaction and project success.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Environmental Science, Ecology, Geology, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in business development and marketing within the environmental sector.
• Proven ability to write proposals, scopes of work, and budgets for projects.
• Experience leading, mentoring, and managing staff effectively.
• Demonstrated success in client development and revenue generation.
• Established industry and regulatory contacts.

Nice-to-haves

• Professional certification or license (PE, PG, CPG, PhD, etc.) is a major plus.
