About the position
EnSafe is seeking an Environmental Scientist, Engineer, or Geologist to join their Dallas office. This role focuses on supporting environmental site assessments and investigations, providing compliance support, and contributing to various projects under the guidance of experienced staff. Responsibilities
- Assist in tasks to support Phase I/II environmental site assessments.
- Execute work plans and project coordination.
- Conduct site investigation activities including sampling of soil, groundwater, surface water, sediment, biota, indoor air, soil gas, and drinking water.
- Provide environmental compliance support to senior regulatory specialists, including data collection for permitting and regulatory compliance evaluation.
- Perform oversight of drilling and remediation subcontractors.
- Provide data compilation, database management, statistical evaluation, and modeling.
- Prepare technical reports.
Requirements
- BS in Geology, Engineering, or a related environmental science field.
- 2 to 5 years of environmental field experience.
- Strong desire to become a registered Professional Geologist/Engineer.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Must acquire a 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification within the first 30 days of employment.
