The responsibilities include executing maintenance assignments in a collaborative culture across all divisions within TSLC. The individual will follow established maintenance schedules and procedures, performing a variety of tasks such as installing shelving, making adjustments and repairs on cabinets, and repairing and installing cove bases and handrails. Additional duties involve mounting pictures and bulletin boards, performing repairs on community equipment, minor kitchen equipment, and HVAC systems, as well as plumbing repairs including faucets and drains. The role also encompasses patching and repairing roofs, painting and refinishing furniture and fixtures, and maintaining floor care through various cleaning methods. The individual will be responsible for calibrating thermostats and performing preventive maintenance on generators. Ensuring that the grounds and community equipment are maintained in a clean and safe manner is also a key aspect of the job. The position may require transporting residents in a company vehicle for appointments and shopping, as well as routine servicing of grounds and parking areas, including snow removal and salting. Safety is paramount, and the individual must follow established safety precautions, including fire safety, while performing tasks and using equipment. The goal is to maintain assigned work areas in a clean, safe, comfortable, sanitary, and attractive manner, contributing to the overall well-being of the community.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate Sanctuary Values to all internal and external customers.
  • Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth throughout the community.
  • Execute assignments in a collaborative culture across all divisions within TSLC.
  • Follow maintenance schedule/instructions as outlined in established policies and procedures.
  • Install shelving and make adjustments and repairs on cabinets.
  • Repair and install cove base and handrails.
  • Mount pictures and bulletin boards, perform curtain rod and cubicle track repairs.
  • Install, repair, and/or replace floor tile.
  • Perform repairs on community equipment and minor kitchen equipment and HVAC.
  • Repair drains utilizing enzymes and electric equipment including auger and air operated clog remover.
  • Repair faucets and other plumbing fixtures.
  • Patch and repair roofs.
  • Paint and refinish furniture and fixtures as assigned.
  • Perform floor care including stripping, waxing, buffing, vacuuming, shampooing, deodorizing, and disinfecting.
  • Calibrate thermostats and perform minor pneumatic equipment repairs.
  • Repair and replace single-phase motors up to 120 volts.
  • Operate and test generator and perform preventive maintenance as assigned.
  • Maintain grounds and community equipment in a clean, safe manner.
  • Transport residents in a company vehicle to and from appointments, shopping, etc.
  • Perform routine servicing of grounds, parking areas, and driveways, including snow removal and salting.
  • Follow established safety precautions when performing tasks and using equipment.

Requirements
