This position involves providing guidance and daily supervision to staff, supporting operational goals, and ensuring compliance with departmental budgets and customer service standards. You will also assist in the day-to-day cleaning of the Casino property and maintain accurate inventory of supplies and equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance and daily supervision to staff on designated shift.
  • Support and administer operational goals and monitor performance and profit objectives.
  • Adhere to scheduling and coordinate with manager on scheduling concerns, focusing on guest satisfaction.
  • Support compliance with departmental budgets.
  • Promote and demonstrate superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards.
  • Oversee the day-to-day cleaning of the Casino property.
  • Keep accurate inventory of supplies and equipment and communicate supply needs to manager.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure it meets established standards.
  • Ensure OSHA standards are followed.
  • Report property damage or problems to manager in a timely manner.
  • Assist in providing distribution of work assignments.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and report potential issues to management.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or GED is required; one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to perform physical job duties of all EVS team members in emergencies.
  • Ability to operate all standard EVS equipment, including vacuum cleaners, floor machines, carpet extractors, and handheld radios.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical operations and interpret data.
  • Ability to interact with guests, staff, and colleagues and resolve problems diplomatically.
  • Willingness to work at multiple casino locations.
