About the position

The Environmental Services / Custodial Operations Manager 2 at Sodexo is responsible for overseeing custodial operations within a healthcare setting, ensuring a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This role involves leading a team, managing client and patient satisfaction scores, and collaborating with various departments to maintain high standards of cleanliness and compliance with health regulations. Responsibilities

  • Drive client and patient satisfaction scores.
  • Provide a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
  • Work closely with the Infectious Control department.
  • Lead teams and departmental projects and initiatives.
  • Effectively manage the Unit Operating System.
  • Support a diverse and inclusive workforce.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2 years of basic management experience.
  • 2 years of work experience in Housekeeping, Environmental or Custodial Services.
  • Experience leading and managing a team.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to work independently.
  • Experience with vendor and contract management.
  • Experience improving patient satisfaction and compliance with health standards.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a healthcare environment preferred but not required.
  • Experience driving customer service and guest satisfaction results.
