About the position

The Environmental Services / Custodial Operations Manager 2 at Sodexo is responsible for leading the janitorial team for an Oil & Gas client in Houston, TX. Responsibilities

  • Lead the janitorial team for an Oil & Gas client in Houston, TX.
  • Provide local account leadership and strategic direction to on-site staff.
  • Ensure compliance with Sodexo Quality and regulatory standards.
  • Supervise day-to-day work activities by delegating authority and monitoring compliance.
  • Develop and utilize performance metrics for problem analysis and action plans.
  • Facilitate effective communication with direct reports, frontline staff, clients, and Sodexo leadership.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2 years of management experience in custodial or environmental services.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing labor and supply costs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Prior environmental management experience ideally in a corporate office setting.
