About the position
The Environmental Services Worker Lead at Aramark is responsible for providing leadership to hourly employees in the Environmental Services department. This role involves overseeing the completion of job duties, performing hands-on work, and ensuring high-quality cleaning services in compliance with established standards and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Assists management and supervisors at the beginning and end of shifts with sign-in, supplies, and equipment management.
- Prepares and delivers supplies necessary for employee needs during shifts.
- Performs assessments of public restrooms and on-call rooms as needed.
- Adheres to departmental sanitation procedures and reports employee issues.
- Supervises staff assignments to ensure efficient and high-quality cleaning services.
- Formulates action plans to correct inefficiencies and quality discrepancies.
- Assists in employee training, coaching, and motivation.
- Maintains accurate records for quality control systems.
- Complies with OSHA regulations and other local, state, and federal regulations.
- Maintains compliance with Aramark's standards and client contracts.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in environmental services.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to apply elementary math functions.
- Ability to work well under time constraints.
- Ability to follow detailed written or oral instructions.
- Basic knowledge of infection control procedures and universal precautions.
