About the position

The Environmental Staff Analyst at Entergy Services, LLC is responsible for providing environmental and regulatory support across various business functions and projects. This role involves managing stakeholder relationships, leading a team of environmental analysts, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. The analyst will focus on continuous improvement in environmental management practices and will play a key role in the operationalization of environmental programs, ensuring alignment with EPA and state guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Provide environmental and regulatory support to Entergy facilities and projects.
  • Lead and manage key stakeholder relationships including consultants, project teams, and regulators.
  • Provide technical mentoring and oversight for a team of environmental analysts.
  • Implement environmental compliance programs and risk management strategies.
  • Evaluate and develop environmental and regulatory policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with USEPA, CWA, CAA, and other environmental regulations.
  • Engage cross-functionally with Entergy's Sustainability and Environmental Policy organization.
  • Manage environmental contractor budgets and expenses.
  • Drive consistency and standardization of Environmental Management Programs across business functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience managing environmental compliance programs.
  • Proficient in computer-based data management systems.
  • Significant experience in utility-specific environmental management.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice-to-haves

  • Utility industry environmental management experience supporting operational facilities.
  • Knowledge of environmental laws and regulations.
  • Experience with cross-functional team engagement.
