This role also includes training and mentoring Environmental Technician I staff, solving complex cleaning challenges, and maintaining equipment. Responsibilities

• Provides detailed housekeeping services in assigned areas and project areas.
• Serves as a preceptor for training and orientation of staff members.
• Acts as a resource for Environmental Services staff, offering expertise in cleaning challenges.
• Cleans, maintains, and restocks Environmental Services equipment.
• Provides quality customer service with attention to detail.
• Follows guidelines for cleaning discharges and project rooms, communicating with nursing staff.
• Completes documentation for isolation cleanings and monitors bed status using Tele-Tracking if required.
• Reports safety defects or work hazards to site leader or manager.
• Adheres to safety guidelines and regulatory compliance in using chemicals and equipment.

Requirements

• High school graduate or GED equivalent preferred but not required.
• One year of experience in healthcare housekeeping or similar industrial housekeeping setting required.
• Effective communication skills and ability to read written materials.
• Close attention to detail is essential.
• Capability to teach cleaning processes and techniques to others.
• Knowledge and ability to perform all types of cleaning tasks as an Environmental Technician I.

Nice-to-haves

• National Executive Housekeeper Certification desirable.
