About the position

The Environmental Technician will support the management of environmental programs and compliance initiatives at Vallourec Star Houston sites. This role involves assisting with data collection, reporting, and oversight of environmental compliance, as well as participating in audits and evaluations to ensure adherence to environmental standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist with management of site environmental issues related to storm water, air, waste, wastewater, emergency plans, and energy management.
• Assist EHS personnel with site recordkeeping as needed.
• Assist with collection, review, and reporting of environmental and safety indicators to support company objectives.
• Participate in internal and external audits and program evaluations.
• Direct department sub-contractor support as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an environmental position.
• Experience with data management.
