About the position

The Workday Manager within Managed Services at Deloitte is responsible for overseeing Workday support for clients, ensuring effective collaboration with stakeholders, and managing delivery of support projects. This role involves client management, business development, and people development, while also championing data security and leading change control initiatives. The position requires a blend of technical and functional expertise in Workday ERP applications, along with strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day interactions with executive clients and sponsors.
• Deliver Workday managed service engagements end to end, ensuring accountability for all client service delivery activities.
• Develop and maintain contact with top decision makers at key clients and lead proposal development processes.
• Perform the role of counselor and coach, providing guidance in staffing and recruitment activities.
• Oversee Workday support in collaboration with various Functional Owners, including FIN & SCM leaders.
• Lead Change Control Board (CCB) meetings and resolve priority issues with business and IT leadership.
• Champion data security by working with Security Leads to ensure compliance with cross-application security policies.

Requirements

• 10+ years of consulting or industry experience.
• 8+ years of ERP production support experience.
• 4+ years of Workday Financials implementation experience on 2+ projects.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
• Ability to travel 25%, on average, based on work and client needs.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in proposal development such as sizing for Workday.
• Experience working with teams across geographies to deliver Application Support for clients.
• 5+ years of experience with ITSM processes, Service Level Agreements, and KPIs.
• Workday certification.
• Functional knowledge of ERP Financial or Supply Chain processes and systems.
• Advanced degree in the area of specialization.
