About the position
The EP Lab position is focused on providing specialized care in the electrophysiology lab, where professionals will work with advanced technology to assist in diagnosing and treating heart rhythm disorders. This role is essential for ensuring patient safety and comfort during procedures, as well as collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality healthcare services.
Responsibilities
- Assist in electrophysiology procedures and support the medical team during interventions.
- Monitor patient vital signs and ensure patient safety throughout the procedure.
- Prepare and maintain equipment and instruments used in the EP lab.
- Document patient information and procedure details accurately in medical records.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
Requirements
- Current certification in a relevant healthcare field (e.g., RN, RT, etc.).
- Experience in an electrophysiology lab or similar clinical setting is preferred.
- Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy and physiology.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
