About the position

The EPC Electrical Lead Engineer - Offshore at KBR is responsible for leading pre-FEED, FEED, and Detail Engineering projects for offshore facilities. This role requires a strong background in electrical engineering, particularly in offshore projects, and involves interfacing with project teams, clients, and shipyards to ensure compliance with marine rules and requirements while supporting energy transition and sustainability initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-FEED, FEED, and Detail Engineering projects for offshore facilities.
• Interface with project teams, clients, and shipyards to ensure project requirements are met.
• Ensure compliance with Lloyds, DNV, ABS, and USCG marine rules and requirements.
• Oversee purchasing of offshore electrical equipment up to 34.5 kV, control/powerhouses, and living quarters.
• Manage purchasing of generators and controls, and conduct ETAP or SKM power system studies.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of seven (7) years related experience in electrical engineering.
• Lead experience on offshore projects.
• Familiarity with marine rules and requirements from Lloyds, DNV, ABS, and USCG.
• Purchasing experience for offshore electrical equipment up to 34.5 kV.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
