The Epic Analyst (Bridges) position at Brillio involves working as a Senior Epic Application Analyst focused on the development and implementation of EPIC applications, particularly in the area of Epic Bridges (Interfaces). The role requires collaboration with various stakeholders to design, develop, test, and implement customized solutions that meet organizational needs, ensuring efficiency and user-friendliness. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions within the EPIC framework.
- Design, develop, maintain, and support EPIC Interfaces for various EPIC applications, modules, and workflows according to project requirements.
- Customize EPIC applications to meet the specific needs of the organization, including configuration, scripting, and integration with other systems.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and quality assurance to ensure the reliability and performance of EPIC applications.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for EPIC applications, resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Document technical specifications, configurations, and procedures related to EPIC development and implementation.
- Stay up-to-date with EPIC software updates, new features, and best practices to continuously improve systems and processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinicians, IT professionals, and project managers, to ensure successful EPIC implementations and integrations.
- Participate in training sessions and knowledge sharing activities to promote the effective use of EPIC software across the organization.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and other relevant compliance standards in all aspects of EPIC development and implementation.
- Collaborate with EPIC Technical Services team to customize/optimize Epic Payer Platform build, as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Current EPIC Certifications in Bridges, Tapestry, Healthy Planet, CareEverywhere, Ambulatory.
- Proven experience in EPIC application development, configuration, and implementation.
- Proficiency in EPIC modules such as MyChart, EpicCare Inpatient, Cadence, Prelude, ADT.
- Strong knowledge of EPIC integration tools, including HL7, Web Services, and API integration.
- Experience with EPIC Clarity database and reporting tools is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
