About The Position

The position involves performing Epic application system analysis and design, including requirements gathering, specifications, configuration, documentation, testing, and implementation of systems. The role also includes providing support for Epic applications, troubleshooting, training, and reporting activities, while serving as a liaison between various groups, clients, and vendors. The candidate will conduct advanced analysis of Epic application design, mentor teammates, manage projects, and develop reference materials for supported applications.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's/Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, healthcare, business, or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum of eight years of related experience required.
• Valid Virginia drivers' license required.
• Certification/Proficiency in applicable Epic module required.
• Additional Certifications/Proficiencies in module associated with primary Epic module required.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Effective communication skills (oral, written, and presentation).
• Ability to collaborate with others, including clients and vendors.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a healthcare setting.
• Familiarity with integrated third-party applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform Epic application system analysis and design including requirements, specifications, configuration, documentation, testing, and implementation.
• Provide Epic application support, troubleshooting, training, and reporting activities.
• Serve as a liaison between TSG groups, clients, and vendors.
• Conduct advanced analysis of Epic application design and plan implementations.
• Mentor teammates in issue resolution and provide updates to peers, leadership, and clients.
• Manage assigned projects and meet deadlines.
• Conduct requirements gathering for Epic projects and requests.
• Coordinate and conduct detailed design sessions based on client/business needs and application functionality.
• Develop reference materials for supported applications and related technologies.
