About the position

The Epic Application Analyst plays a crucial role in the implementation and maintenance of Electronic Health Records (EHR) within an ambulatory physician setting. This position involves direct collaboration with physicians and their teams to analyze and resolve business problems, enhance systems, and provide user training. The analyst will also support additional software programs and ensure effective communication between clinical partners and various internal and external teams, including vendors. The role requires a proactive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain Electronic Health Records for ambulatory physician settings.
• Conduct analysis to identify solutions for business problems and opportunities.
• Provide support for additional software programs.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure clinical partners' needs are met.
• Monitor systems for data quality, efficiency, and integrity.
• Assist in system analysis, design, development, documentation, and configuration.
• Provide end-user application support during pre-installation, implementation, and post-delivery phases.
• Train customers and partners, including scheduling and new provider initiatives.
• Document and analyze required information and data for software requirements.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Epic applications and modules.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 5 years of experience in gathering client business requirements is a plus.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to lead projects and work effectively in a clinic or outpatient setting.
• Training in automated systems, Windows, and web technology required.

Nice-to-haves

• Practice Management, Medical Assistant, or Clinical experience preferred.
• Readiness to travel up to 20%.
