About the position

The PowerBI/Epic Developer will be responsible for supporting the reporting needs of the organization using PowerBI, Snowflake, and Epic systems. This role requires strong technical skills in PowerBI and Epic, along with excellent communication abilities to interface with leadership and clients. The position is based in Irvine, CA, and requires onsite presence four days a week.

Responsibilities

• Support PowerBI, Snowflake, and Epic reporting needs.
• Interface with leadership and clients to gather requirements and provide updates.
• Develop and maintain PowerBI reports and dashboards.
• Write SQL queries to extract and manipulate data as needed.
• Utilize Epic Clarity PB and Epic Cogito for reporting purposes.
• Train and present to large audiences on reporting tools and data insights.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a PowerBI Developer or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in writing SQL queries.
• Experience with Epic, specifically with Epic Clarity PB and Epic Cogito.
• 3+ years of experience with Workbench and SlicerDicer within Epic Cogito.
• In-depth knowledge of relational databases, star schema, data lake, and data modeling.
• Certification in Epic Clarity PB and Epic Cogito is preferred.
• Experience in a Snowflake environment.
• Experience as a trainer/presenting to large audiences.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience as an analyst in another part of Epic (scheduling, clinical, pharmacy, etc.).
