About the position

The Revenue Business Solutions Analyst position at Mercy is a remote role that focuses on the Epic Grand Central, Prelude, and RTE systems. This position is integral to formulating and defining business scope and objectives through thorough research and fact-finding, combined with a deep understanding of business and industry requirements. The analyst will perform functional analysis, requirements definition, and application module configuration and testing, ensuring that the solutions developed align with the business functions and processes. In this role, the analyst will be responsible for conducting prototypes, developing functional specifications, and performing data mapping and function mapping. They will set configuration tables and transaction/control tables, which are crucial for the effective operation of the systems. A thorough understanding of business processes and flows is essential, as this knowledge enables the analyst to analyze business requirements and develop appropriate solutions. The position also involves identifying and resolving gaps in business processes, as well as being involved in security and authorization setup, user documentation, data interface design, data migration, and reconciliation. Additionally, the analyst may be involved in the installation and tuning of modifications and archiving data. While the position requires light programming skills to develop necessary workarounds, the primary focus remains on providing support to end-users for application configuration and in-house developed applications. Responsibilities

• Formulates and defines business scope and objectives through research and fact-finding.
• Performs functional analysis, requirements definition, and application module configuration and testing.
• Conducts prototypes and develops functional specifications.
• Performs data mapping and function mapping, setting configuration tables and transaction/control tables.
• Identifies and resolves gaps in business processes.
• Involved in security/authorization setup, user documentation, data interface design, data migration, and reconciliation.
• May be involved in the installation and tuning of modifications and archiving data.
• Provides support to end-users for application configuration and in-house developed applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, specialized training, or equivalent work experience.
• Two (2) years of relevant technical or business work experience.
• Knowledge of requirements management, diagramming, use case development.
• Experience in process design, reengineering, and requirements documentation methodologies.
• Advanced computer skills and general understanding of Software Development Life Cycle.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience in business writing.
• Requires Epic certification within 90 days after completion of training.
