About the position

The position involves leading and coordinating major Information Systems (I.S.) Applications projects in multi-platform environments, focusing on the needs of clients in clinical or business settings. The role encompasses the entire project lifecycle from defining client needs to delivering complete application packages, ensuring effective support for information systems. The candidate will also analyze existing processes, design systems, and communicate design issues to clients, ensuring they are informed of alternatives and implications of changes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all aspects of major I.S. Applications projects in multi-platform environments.
• Define clients' needs and deliver complete applications packages to the Data Center for production.
• Conduct studies to understand clients' clinical or business processes and corresponding information system needs.
• Analyze existing reports, procedures, systems, and controls; conduct feasibility studies and cost/benefit analyses.
• Design clinical and business information systems to meet clients' needs, developing detailed specifications and data flow diagrams.
• Inform clients of I.S. design issues and alternatives, including cost/benefit analysis results.
• Determine the appropriate means for delivering necessary applications software, whether through acquisition or custom development.

Requirements

• Current HB Certification
• Experienced resource with well-rounded general HB experience
• Epic Hospital Billing Build Experience
• Additional Certifications within Revenue Cycle
• Experience with SBO, Charge, Contracts, Claims is a bonus
